Life & Style Weekly: February 6, 2017 – ‘Flip or Flop’ Christina El Moussa’s Story

Life & Style Weekly’s February 6, 2017 issue features Flip or Flop Christina El Moussa’s new plans post her divorce from Tarek.

In the issue:

As the divorce between Flip or Flop couple Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa becomes less and less amicable, the blonde beauty is setting her sights on a bright future without her husband of seven years.

“Christina has been trying to pitch her own show for months,” an HGTV insider tells Life & Style. “She truly wants to have her own career and wants to be separated from Tarek in every way.”

As Life & Style previously reported, an eyewitness revealed that the former real estate agent used to joke about raping his wife while filming their hit show. “Christina feels like she was put through hell with Tarek,” the insider says. “After trying to keep their marriage together for years, she just couldn’t put up with him anymore.”

After announcing their split, the mother-of-two expressed to fans that any affection seen between the pair during Season 6, which is currently airing, was filmed a long time ago. And tales of his inappropriate behavior are only helping to boost the 33-year-old’s image. “Christina will now come across as a victim and Tarek comes across as the demeaning jerk that people don’t like,” notes branding expert David Johnson, CEO of Strategic Vision PR Group in Atlanta. “Public sympathy will be toward her. People will want to see Christina succeed.”

According to In Touch, the mom has already moved on with contractor Gary Anderson, who worked with the El Moussas on their home renovations. “Christina grew close to Gary,” a source told the site. “Tarek was suspicious that she was getting involved with someone but had no concrete evidence.” However, in May of 2016, “Tarek saw Christina’s phone and [believed] there was some inappropriate texting going on between Christina and Gary,” the source adds.
